PM Academy is a collaborative effort between ACEC-FL and FDOT District Two to provide a series of training to aid a new project manager. The training offers project managers a big picture perspective of project management while also providing enough technical information to allow them to quickly manage projects and issues.
Our next training, Module 5 will provide an overview of the Construction Engineering and Inspection (CEI) Project Management processes for both In-House Project Managers as well as Consultant CEI Project Managers. Upon completion, attendees will understand the core technical requirements associated with a typical CEI project. New CEI Project Managers, and Design Project Managers, will gain a basic understanding of the typical construction process for an FDOT project. Existing Project Managers will gain a better understanding of current practices, recent changes, and District 2 preferences.
