U.S. 129 at I-10 and 68th Terrace median modifications
Overview

Suwannee Crossing is a commercial development planned for construction on the east side of U.S. 129 just south of I-10 in Suwannee County. Suwannee Crossing developers are proposing an access connection near an existing, full access median opening that does not meet current FDOT spacing requirements. To meet current FDOT spacing requirements, FDOT is proposing roadway improvements on the median at U.S. 129 between I-10 and 68th Terrace. The purpose of this modification is to improve safety and provide an efficient way to enter and exit properties along the section of U.S. 129. The full median opening that currently exists in front of the McDonalds, Chevron, and Shell gas stations would be modified to allow left-in, right-in and right-out access onto U.S. 129.

If you have questions about the median modifications, please contact Troy Register at (386) 961-7153, Troy.Register@dot.state.fl.us or by mail at 710 NW Lake Jeffrey Road Suite 101, Lake City, FL 32055.
