Prosser, Inc. representing Momentum Blanding Owner, LLC has applied for a permit to construct Momentum Blanding Apartments at 6136 Blanding Boulevard, Jacksonville, FL 32244. Access to the address would be provided by a single driveway on the west side of Blanding Boulevard. The proposed plans would modify the current median opening by replacing it with a turn lane and directionalized median opening for vehicles traveling northbound on Blanding Boulevard to turn left into the property. Additionally, a turn lane would be added south of the new directionalized median to allow southbound traffic to make a U-turn. The introduction of a turn lane and the directionalized median opening is expected to reduce potential northbound traffic delays and will result in improved safety by reducing turning movement conflicts.

The Florida Department of Transportation is seeking input from nearby property owners and other citizens who may be impacted by the proposed changes.
