The Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT) will host a public hearing regarding a median modification on U.S. 90 at Baya Drive as part of a project to develop a Circle K convenience store at 969 SW Baya Drive. The proposed modifications are required by FDOT to maintain safe and efficient traffic flow on U.S. 90.
Those interested can drop by anytime between 4:30 and 6:30 p.m. to learn more about the proposed changes and speak with FDOT staff and consultants. A formal public hearing will begin at 6:30 p.m.
To provide the public with an opportunity to provide feedback on the proposed changes, an access management hearing will be held Tuesday, October 15 at Parkview Baptist Church, 268 NW Lake Jeffery Rd, Lake City, FL 32055. It will begin with an open house from 4:30 to 6:30 p.m., followed by a public comment period at 6:30 p.m. Attendees who complete a speaker’s card will have the opportunity to make an oral statement for the public hearing record. Persons wishing to submit written statements or other exhibits in place of or in addition to oral statements may do so at the hearing or by sending them to Troy Register, 710 NW Lake Jeffery Road, Lake City, FL 32055-2621. Exhibits or statements postmarked by October 25, 2019 will become part of the hearing record.
