San Jose Boulevard (SR 13) Signals Improvements

Overview

The project includes new mast-arms and signals at San Jose Boulevard and Julington Creek Road, Westberry Road, Marbon Road, Orange Picker Road, Loretto Road, Ricky Drive and Mandarin Road. Other items of construction include pedestrian signals, highway striping, crosswalk striping, highway signage and concrete sidewalk.

Traffic will be maintained in accordance with FDOT design standards throughout the project. Drivers can expect periodic single lane closures during off-peak driving hours. Lane closures may occur from 8 p.m. to 6 a.m. seven days a week.

Florida Safety Contractors is expected to complete this $2.6 million improvement project in summer 2020, weather and unforeseen circumstances permitting.

The Florida Department of Transportation urges motorists to always follow the speed limit and stay within the limits of orange cones and barrels while traveling through construction zones.
