State Road 5 resurfacing from the Flagler County line to State Road 206

Overview

The Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT) is scheduled to begin a resurfacing improvement project on State Road 5/U.S. 1 from the Flagler County line to State Road 206 (7 miles) this June.

Preferred Materials Inc. is contracted to complete the project, which includes milling and paving the roadway, minor drainage work and other incidental construction items. To complete milling and paving operations daytime and nighttime lane closures will be necessary. Lane closures southbound on State Road 5 within 600 feet of a signalized intersection are allowed Monday through Friday 4:30 to 6:30 p.m.
