State Road 20 Widening – 56th Avenue to County Road 315

Overview

FDOT is scheduled to widen State Road 20 from a two-lane rural roadway to a four-lane urban roadway with curbs, gutters, medians, bike lanes, 5 foot sidewalk on the north side and a 10 foot multi-use path on the south side of the roadway. These improvements will complete the upgrading of the entire corridor from Gainesville to Palatka at an estimated cost of $33 million. The project bids in late February 2019. Donnie Devenny is the FDOT Project Manager.
