Fernandina Mulch and Stone was selected to complete this $1.1 million project, which includes furnishing, installing and establishing highway landscaping and irrigation on U.S. 17 (North Main Street) from 1st Street to 12th Street. This project also includes planting Muskogee crape myrtles, live oaks, Sabal palms and peanut grass.

Traffic will be maintained in accordance with FDOT design standards throughout the project. No lane closures will be allowed from 6:30 a.m. to 9 a.m. Monday through Friday. No lane closures are allowed on school days within 600 feet of a school zone from one hour before school begins to 30 minutes after school begins. They’re also not permitted one hour before school ends to 30 minutes after school ends.
