Blanding Boulevard (State Road 21) at Henley Road Proposed Access Changes
Overview

This project proposes access changes on Blanding Boulevard (State Road 21) and Henley Road in Clay County, where the Henley Middleburg Master Infrastructure project has requested a permit to develop a property for future commercial use on the southeast side of Blanding Boulevard approximately 1,200 feet southwest of the intersection at Blanding Boulevard and Henley Road.

To maintain safety in the area and manage access to the proposed commercial site, FDOT would require the developer to construct three right-hand turn lanes. Additionally, an existing median opening on Blanding Boulevard will be modified to a directional median opening to meet current FDOT requirements. These changes would be funded by the developer and would be constructed at no cost to taxpayers.

If you have questions or comments about the proposed changes, please contact Permits Coordinator Caryn Osemwenkae at (904) 825-5031, Caryn.Osemwenkhae@dot.state.fl.us?or by mail at 2198 Edison Avenue MS 2801, Jacksonville, FL 32204-2730.
