This project proposes a median modification on Normandy Boulevard (State Road 228) in Duval County. To improve safety and access management, FDOT plans to close the existing full median opening at the intersection on Normandy Boulevard and construct a new directionalized median opening east of the intersection at Chaffee Road East. The proposed improvements also include the addition of deceleration lanes to accommodate turning movements safely and efficiently.

These modifications are intended to enhance traffic operations and improve safety along the Normandy Boulevard corridor. Construction of the project will be fully funded by the developer at no cost to taxpayers.
