This project consists of milling and resurfacing of the existing travel lanes and shoulders on State Road 45 (U.S. 27) from State Road 500 to the Alachua County line.

Additional improvements include guardrail upgrades, drainage improvements, ADA upgrades, and signing and pavement marking updates.

Anderson Columbia Co, Inc. was awarded the $5.6 million project.

Traffic will be maintained in accordance with Florida Department of Transportation design standards throughout the project. Drivers can expect lane closures and flagging operations between 8:30 AM and 5:30 p.m., Monday through Friday.
