39th Avenue Resurfacing and Intersection Improvements
Overview

This project consists of milling and resurfacing State Road 222 (39th Avenue) from east of NW 40th Terrace to NW 24th Boulevard and improvements at the intersection of State Road 222 and State Road 25 (U.S. 441/Southwest 13th Street).

Additional improvements include curb and gutters, traffic signals, highway signage, and other incidental construction.

Preferred Materials Inc. was awarded the $4.9 million project.

Traffic will be maintained in accordance with Florida Department of Transportation design standards throughout the project. Drivers can expect lane closures and flagging operations between 8 p.m. and 6:30 a.m. seven days a week. Drivers may also expect to see law enforcement performing traffic control at intersections during overnight operations.
