I-10 (State Road 8) from Chaffee Road to Interstate 295 Resurfacing
Overview

This FDOT resurfacing project will improve safety, increase mobility and rehabilitate 5 miles of I-10 from Chaffee Road to I-295. In addition to milling and resurfacing of I-10, the project includes:

  • Milling and resurfacing of on/off ramps and Chaffee Road
  • Drainage improvements
  • Updating traffic and pedestrian signals
  • Sidewalk replacement
  • Curb and gutter construction
  • Bridge joint repairs
  • Traffic monitoring site updates
  • Updating signage

Traffic will be maintained in accordance with FDOT design standards throughout the project. No lane closures will be allowed Monday through Friday between 5 a.m. to 7 p.m., and Saturday and Sunday from 8 a.m. to 7 p.m.

FDOT selected Anderson Columbia Company to complete this project by Summer 2025, weather and unforeseen circumstances permitting.
