The Florida Department of Transportation has selected Oasis Landscaping Services Inc. to complete a landscaping improvement project on U.S. 441 (State Road 20) MLK Memorial Highway from U.S. 441 overpass at County Road 2054 to Northwest 147th Drive. The project includes excavation and replacement of existing material in the medians and installation of Crape Myrtles and Perennial Peanut grass, as well as installation of irrigation systems to support the new plantings. The landscaping project has been developed as a concept in conjunction with District Two’s FDOTree program, an initiative created to educate the public about FDOT’s Northeast Florida landscaping programs. Drivers should expect nighttime lane closures throughout the duration of the project. No lane closures will be permitted between 6 a.m. and 9 p.m.
