NW 39th Avenue (State Road 222) Median Modifications
Overview

The Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT) proposes to add traffic separator to NW 39th Avenue (SR 222) along both the eastbound and westbound left turn lanes to NW 13th Street.

FDOT proposes the following modifications:

  • Construct a traffic separator along the eastbound 39th Avenue left turn-lane to 13th Street
  • Construct a traffic separator along the westbound 39th Avenue left turn-lane to 13th Street
  • Extend the existing eastbound and westbound left turn-lanes from 39th Avenue to 13th Street

FDOT will have a hybrid public hearing from 4-6 p.m. January 24 at St. Andrews Episcopal Church located at 2715 NW 39th Avenue, Gainesville, FL 32348. Those who can't attend in person can attend online by registering at https://attendee.gotowebinar.com/register/1255193006474755678 or via phone at (213) 929-4214, access code 780-905-322.

Persons who wish to submit written statements or other exhibits in place of or in addition to oral statements may do so at the meeting or by sending them to Matthew Nance P.E., via email at Matthew.Nance@dot.state.fl.us or traditional mail at 2198 Edison Avenue, Jacksonville, FL 32204, or at nflroads.com/vph. All exhibits or statements postmarked on or before February 3, 2023, will become part of the public meeting record.
