U.S. 19/U.S. 98/U.S. 27A (State Road 55) Resurfacing
Overview

The Florida Department of Transportation has started a resurfacing project on U.S. 19/U.S. 98/U.S. 27A (State Road 55).

Improvements include milling and resurfacing, base work, shoulder treatment, drainage improvements, curb and gutters, traffic signals, highway signing, sidewalks, and other incidental construction on U.S. 19 (State Road 55) in Dixie County from north of Cross City to south of Cross City.

Traffic will be maintained in accordance with FDOT design standards throughout the project. Drivers can expect single-lane closures Monday through Friday during the daytime hours.

Anderson Columbia, Co., Inc. is expected to complete this $6.7 million improvement project in spring 2023, weather and unforeseen circumstances permitting.
