GRD Jacksonville, LLC representing Normandy LLC has applied for a permit to construct a Biolife Plasma Services facility at 6690 Normandy Boulevard, Jacksonville, FL 32205. Access to the address would be provided by a single driveway on Normandy Boulevard. The proposed plans would close the median opening that is currently located 150 feet to the west and relocate it to align with the new driveway. The new opening would include a turn lane and a directional median opening for westbound traffic. The introduction of a turn lane and directional median into the property is expected to reduce potential westbound traffic delays and will result in improved safety by reducing turning movement conflicts.

The Florida Department of Transportation is seeking input from nearby property owners and other citizens who may be impacted by the proposed changes.
