Beach Boulevard (State Road 112) from San Mateo Drive to Schumacher Avenue Intersection Improvements
Overview

As part of the Beach Boulevard from San Mateo Drive to Schumacher Avenue Intersection Improvements Project, FDOT proposes to modify the median opening between Kenneth Street and Camden Avenue by closing the median opening and adding a mid-block crossing. Mid-block crossings are signalized pedestrian crossings that provide pedestrians a safer opportunity to cross busy roads. The $857,000 project is expected to begin in summer 2022 with an estimated completion in early 2023, weather and unforeseen circumstances permitting.
