I-95 and State Road 16 Operational Improvements
Overview

The Florida Department of Transportation began an operational improvement project at the I-95 and State Road 16 interchange in early October 2021. As part of the improvements, the department will install a new turn lane on westbound State Road 16 to the I-95 southbound entrance ramp, add a new turn lane on the I-95 northbound exit ramp to State Road 16 and reconfigure traffic signals at the interchange to improve the flow of traffic. This project is also associated with the I-95 resurfacing from State Road 207 to International Golf Parkway. Anderson Columbia was selected to complete both improvement projects.
