A public hearing regarding proposed median modifications and green bike lane addition on Southwest 34th Street (State Road 121) from Southwest 2nd Avenue (State Road 26A) to West University Avenue (State Road 26) will be held Monday, January 6 at the Holy Faith Catholic Church, 747 Northwest 43rd Street, Gainesville, FL 32607. Attendees will have the opportunity to view displays and discuss the proposed changes with project staff and consultants during an open house from 4 to 6 p.m. A formal public comment period will begin at 6 p.m.
Project documents will be available for review at www.nflroads.com by December 27, 2019. Attendees who complete a speaker’s card will be given the opportunity to make an oral statement that will become part of the public hearing record. Persons wishing to submit written statements or other exhibits in place of or in addition to oral statements may do so at the hearing or by sending them to Peter Osborne, Project Manager, at Peter.Osborne@dot.state.fl.us or 2198 Edison Avenue, Jacksonville, FL 32204-2730. All exhibits or statements postmarked on or before January 16, 2020 will become part of the public hearing record.
