San Jose Boulevard Resurfacing (Sunbeam Road to I-295) and I-295/San Jose Boulevard Interchange Improvements
Overview

Project improvements (445426-1) consist of milling and resurfacing, base work, drainage improvements, curb and gutters, traffic signals, lighting, highway signing, sidewalks/bicycle path, green-colored pavement markings, ITS and other incidental construction on San Jose Boulevard (State Road 13) from south of I-295 to north of Sunbeam Road. The companion project (437728-4) includes widening and reconstruction of the ramp from San Jose Boulevard to I-295 North.

During the early phases of construction, the speed limit on San Jose Boulevard will be reduced from 45 mph to 35 mph. No lane closures will be allowed from 6 a.m. to 8 p.m.

Hybrid Construction Open House (Monday, September 23, 2024)

A hybrid construction open house will be held Monday, Sept. 23, 2024. Staff and consultants will be available from 4:30 to 6 p.m. to answer questions about upcoming construction and project improvements. No formal presentation will be given.

To participate in person, stop by the South Mandarin branch of the Jacksonville Public Library, 12125 San Jose Blvd., Jacksonville, FL 32223 anytime between 4:30 and 6 p.m.
