The Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT) began construction on a resurfacing project on U.S. 90 in Suwannee County in August 2022.
Work on approximately 11 miles of roadway is underway between County Road 49 in Live Oak and the Columbia County line. FDOT has hired Anderson Columbia Co., Inc., of Lake City, to handle construction activities.
In addition to milling and resurfacing, the project will include some shoulder improvements, roadway base improvements and other incidental construction.
Motorists should expect some daytime and nighttime lane closures.
