Philips Highway at Reba Avenue Intersection Improvements
Overview

The Philips Highway at Reba Avenue intersection improvements project will enhance pedestrian safety and provide safer traffic operations through the intersection. These improvements include:

  • Adding traffic signals at the intersections of Philips Highway at Reba Avenue, and Philips Highway at Putnam Avenue
  • Adding pedestrian signals and improved crosswalks at the intersections of Philips Highway at Reba Avenue, and Philips Highway at Putnam Avenue
  • Directionalizing the intersections of Philips Highway at Reba Avenue, and Philips Highway at Putnam Avenue
  • Adding a signalized crosswalk at the entrance Walmart entrance across from Clinton Avenue
  • Sidewalk improvements
  • Lighting improvements

Traffic will be maintained in accordance with FDOT standards. Lane closures on Philips Highway are restricted from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. for southbound lanes and from 7:30 a.m. to 7 p.m. for northbound lanes.

FDOT selected Traffic Control Devices Inc. to complete this project in Spring 2021, weather and unforeseen circumstances permitting
